BIOLOGIST NATALIA BARRANTES
17 years of experience in facilitating healthy interrelationships between human activities and natural ecosystems. Through environmental management, environmental interpretation, and the implementation of environmental initiatives between the civil sector, business, academia and local governments.
Bachelor's Degree in Biology with emphasis in Environmental Interpretation, Master's Degree in Environmental Management and Ecotourism.
Natalia has been teaching at the University of Costa Rica since 2011, in the School of Biology and the School of General Studies. She has worked in the tourism sector since 2006 as an environmental interpreter guide and tourism program designer.
She was Coordinator of the Environmental Management Department of the Municipality of Escazú, where she acquired experience in urban territorial management, environmental monitoring and implementation of community environmental programs.
In 2010 Verde Sentir was founded as an alternative to support projects through Environmental Management and Environmental Interpretation.
Her experience in the academic, private, public and community sectors has led her to have a systemic understanding of environmental management and she uses her knowledge to inspire positive forms of development between projects and the environment.
It combines its knowledge of nature with communication and management tools to promote a positive impact on both host communities and ecosystems.
